Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, also known as ADHD is usually diagnosed in children, however it is common to extend into adulthood and be diagnosed during adulthood. According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), ADHD is the most diagnosed mental health disorder in children and is seen in approximately 2.5 % of the adult population.<\/span><\/p>\n

Adults with ADHD may have either or both issues with inattention and or hyperactivity. Common symptoms related to adult ADHD are an impaired ability to concentrate and complete tasks, jump from unfinished task to task, sit undisturbed for any amount of time, show impulsive behaviors and may become easily frustrated.\u00a0 In addition, adults with ADHD may experience issues with time management, poor organizational skills, forgetfulness and misplace or lose personal items.<\/span><\/p>\n
