An Individual Education Program, also known as an IEP can be essential in insuring you or your child\u2019s academic needs will be addressed in a documented and systematic way through your or their school career. There are multiple components of an individualized learning plan and many professionals both within the school and outside the school collaborate and work together to develop an individual plan. Often, in order to obtain academic modifications, you may be required to have an evaluation by a mental health care professional like a Psychiatrist, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Therapist. We understand the process at first may seem daunting, but we can help. In addition to establishing an IEP, over time, the plan will be evaluated, updated and further modifications may be made. This may require ongoing assessment and documentation by your mental health provider.<\/span><\/p>\n
